Description
SUMMARY:
Manage the total overall operation of the project through subordinate supervisory, management and administrative personnel, in the areas of safety, productivity and efficiency to the standards of the contract and to the satisfaction of the customer.
DUTIES:
Essential Functions
1. Perform duties and responsibilities that are common to most supervisory personnel.
2. Ensure that the customer's facility is operated and maintained cost effectively, safely, efficiently and in a first class condition.
3. Ensure that contract requirements are executed at a level above the stated standards.
4. Initiate, direct, and monitor the performance of facility staff and their departments.
5. Communicate operating philosophy, objectives and expectations to the project staff.
6. Resolve problems and/or conflicts and maintain open communication with the customer.
7. Assimilate management information and write reports detailing activities.
8. Review and approve all employee timesheets as well as expenditures for materials, equipment, tools, supplies and subcontracts.
9. Prepare proposals for additions, deletions and changes to the contract scope as requested by the customer.
10. Track, analyze and trend project costs.
11. Prepare invoicing for customer, based on contract type, terms and conditions.
12. Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
13. Ensure workplace free of regulator violations such as Harassment, Discrimination and Fraud etc.
14. Ensure Diversity and Compliance w/AAP/EEO Initiatives.
15. Foster a partnership with Corporate Liaisons for Project Support.
16. Identify and Pursue new business opportunities or contract growth opportunities.
17. Provide various reports on contract performance to Corporate POCs (Point of Contact).
18. Develop/Present formal presentations for various business requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM DESIRED
Education Bachelor's degree in field related to project’s mission, or equivalent experience. MBA
Experience Three years management level experience
Supervisory experience
Project management experience including schedule & budget preparation
Army garrison command or command level experience in our nation's uniformed services, public works, proven managerial and leadership track record and knowledge of the federal/contractor environment.
Skills Interpersonal skills for customer interface
Excellent oral and written communication
Knowledge of compliance with OSHA and Safety Regulations
Ability to fulfill management responsibilities in union environment
Certificate, License, Registration, etc. Certified Project Manager
Travel Required <10%
